hiya i am new to unity and how do i make a character a imported from sketch up move? i have made the scenery and lighting and everything but i don@t know how to make it move? Help please

To have things actually happen in your scene you'll need to learn how to program. You're lucky that a fps controller script is already in your standard assets, but anything else you'll need to make for yourself. Look at the wiki for free scripts and check this out to learn how to script.
