Chat application for a website

Hey lads.
Since I am registered here I would like to ask something. I might get lucky and someone here has experienced this already. I am basically in a need for a chat application for my website and blog. I would like that it will be HTML5, works nice on mobile phones, ability to change the design (colors, headers and such), it needs to save the chat transcript/history and it needs to have the ability to export this transcript. I also wish to upload pictures and videos.

I did a bit of research and found Rumbletalk which seems okay. Anyone used it before? Any other options? I am willing to invest $50/month max for a service. I know there are also free ones but as far as I know they are not so good. I used mIRC a while back but I can’t manage my design with it, and it looks horoble !!!

What you think? I would appreciate any help!

Hey! As there was no answers for me on this site I started researching on my own(as I did before I asked here). I tried and tested about 10 applications. 5 free ones 5 paid ones. Chatnox and Rumbletalk were the best ones and I finally decided to go with Rumbletalk. Why?

  1. I am able to post youtube videos, charts, pictures and it all looks nice
  2. I am able to manage my own design just as much as I would like
  3. I have the ability to export the chat logs(increase SEO with this)
  4. I can use it on my blog, webpage and facebook page at the same time and it is synchronizing really well
  5. Works really well on phones
  6. It is html5 based and it is not a resourse hog
  7. Nice support(got help when I needed it)

Check all of the features or try the demo chat on their page.

Let me know what you think!

Hey Gus, thanks a lot for this. Rumbletalk really seems a decent application for me as well. I started using it a week back or so. I said to myself that I have to say thanks to you for such a great review.
