- remove the header, footer, and the right sidebar.
- remove the gradient in chat window
- lighten the background color
- add an always visible sidebar
Copy ChatGPT or Perplexity AI. It’s just a chat window, no need to be fancy or edgy.

Hi @joseph114591452 and @Slaircaex and more! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are actually working to get light mode in place but will take some more time than we had initially planned for.
But I’m curious, would you mind expanding on what you mean by “Add an always visible sidebar”?
Problem isn’t the dark mode. I always use dark mode everywhere. Check out ChatGPT, Bard and Muse side by side. Bard’s UI is obviously superior with both it’s window size etc and color scheme.
Also send prompt button should be outside of input box, it’s blocking text when on second row

@martina_johannesson Sorry that feedback was vague. What I meant by “Add an always visible sidebar” was moving the header and the footer content into the side columns.
