Cheap Cuastics Mobile Shader?

Anyone messed around with fake caustics since 3.2 of unity where they have introduced some improvements in the shader pipeline for mobile devices, I’m not good at writing shaders but the idea is to have a texture over laid with some animation values that makes it move and only instead of using a projected where you get double draw calls this shader is only one draw call and is placed on all objects? Thoughts?

i posted smiliar one with the bumped terrain shader. You can copy and paste that one. Just search for it.

thanks that seems to only work in a terrain, we need it to work on any geometry … i have a test shader and script set up but its dog slow an im not good at getting things optimized esp for iOS… :frowning:

Surely what i posted works with terrain alone as it was supposed to. Its up to you to write your own shader which suits your own purposes.
Or you want a ready shader? I can write it for you for the right price.
