Cheapest way to test the android market now

i want to release some simple demos to android devices - it’s for fun so I want to spend the less I can

if i get the faq right, my cheapest option (ignoring the trial) right now is UnityFree+AndroidPlugin=400$
i’ll get a 3.x immediately, and as soon as unity4 get shipped i’ll receive a unity4 licence at no extra cost

is that right?

Yes. When you go to the store, you’ll actually buy 4.x but get 3.x right away. You’ll also need to register as an Android developer for $25. (to release games on the Play Store)
