Looking at Unitys IAP solution I see that:
- Products must be cleared for sale in iTunes Connect
To get the products cleared for sale in iTunes Connect, unless I am mistaken, I need to submit my binary for review. The binary was rejected because the store could not be initialized because the products are not cleared for sale.
Obviously I’m doing something stupid here? I can’t get the products cleared for sale without submitting my binary and I can’t get my binary approved without the products being cleared for Sale?
Not sure about this but I know for a fact, using Prime31 plugins, you do not need to upload any binary to Apple or submit the InApps for review. Just as long as InApp is created in the backend you can test it on test device if everything is setup correctly. The problem with Unity is they done there InApps as a service combining it with Analytics, which personally is just a padding and not convinced, hence still using the Prime31 solution. Worth checking out the other forum…
Thanks for the reply! Turns out the issue I was having with testing the IAP’s was just down to a contracts & banking notice that needed updating on iTunes Connect. Lesson learnt
