Chikara

I’m interested to see where this goes.

Very nice. I like how you will release one part of the game each month. I was actually planning on doing the same thing for a future project where I would release one “Episode” every 2-3 weeks or so instead of one big game.

Screenshot looks interesting. I look forward to seeing more so keep up the good work.

Pretty good work.
The webplayer was pretty laggy for me but that just might be my computer. I might try the PC version later. It was still playable though for me.

heres some of my critiques:
+Nice menu, its simple and nice to look at with its animated background. The actual GUI buttons are kinda boring though.

+Nice character/design. Looks good and is unique.

+Character Dialog is fun to listen(read) and is actually pretty good.

+I like the level design a lot actually. Its kind of empty though and I think you should add in more props around the scene. Just anything, like wooden tables, pots, chains, etc. Just anything that would fit in with the level and you think fits right. But yeah overall I like it, it has good lighting and that brick looks great.

+Really cool spell casting type system you have there

+I think the character should have some footsteps sound effect when she moves. (Aiya)

+I dont think the treasure chest disappear after you kill them? They didnt for me. Its better if you destroy them from the scene after a little while if you defeat them so they are not just hanging out using resources.

+putting in some music throughout the level would make the game feel more alive I guess. Music that fits the mood, I think dungeon music would be good before you get to the “Demon Lord”. I know there was music when you get to the Demon lord but I just think you can have some music before to and then switch it to play the music when you battle the Demon lord

+The Demon Lord is pretty fun to battle. I did not defeat him though, the game got to laggy for me, but cool boss battle.

I stopped playing after loosing to the Demon Lord, but like I said, I might get the pc version later to test it out and see if I can get further.
Overall, good work. I think you should spend some more time polishing up chapter one before working on the next.

I look forward to more updates on this. Keep it up.
