Choosing anchor points for dynamic lit items are a pain

Like here,
Either I place the anchor on the shadow side and the light side gets too dark

Or I place it on the light side and the shadow side gets too lit

Hey! What you could do instead, is to have a double layer of probes on the each side of the wall. For instance, place one layer of probes really close to the inner wall, and one slightly away from it. Repeat the process for other rooms. This will ensure that you have some buffer between the probes, which should minimize bleeding and wrong shading.

hi, yeah but if have objects like this were some is in shadow and some not you gotta choose which light level should reflect the door

You would then need to increase the probe density in your interior area. Also, if you want more accurate sampling for your doors, you could try assigning LPPVs to them.

hmm, proxy volumes. Forgot about those critters. Might actually help here, thanks
