I had just today decided to buy Unity, and had not heard of the Christmas rebate. But I was smart enough to search the web in case there were any rebates! I mean, that rebate field looked like it was there for a reason…

I’ve already done some neat playing around. I’ll post something sometime.
Just so you know, it wasn’t the rebate that caused me to go ahead and get around to buying Unity (though saving $300 was nice!), it was the video tutorials. Even though there were only a few of them it gave me a good idea of how things would work. I’m now working through the full tutorials, hence some early good progress.
The way the videos show the interface is novel, with the cursor area being magnified in order to draw your attention.
Bought it the 15th also! Now I’m just waiting for the new update
