Hi, our little company here in germany made a funny christmas card with some animated characters and kind of dance-show. It is meant somehow ironic or humourous about financial crises, you know, political circus trying to blend us and keeping us from seeing the real thing. The card is called “Mutti and the Banxster-Dancers” - ‘Mutti’ is the term the chancellor is called here in germany, it means ‘mum of germany’, … well …
We did not have the time to implement interaction for selecting dancemoves or similar but the showelements are synchronized to the music: multiple dancemoves (Gangnam, Sirtaki …), a lighted floor with different colorpatterns, raining 100 EUR-notes, blinking christmastree-lamps and 4 cameras for improving the show-effect. The characters were modeled, textured and animated in cinema4d. The animations arent perfect but it will do for a christmas card. It was mainly intended for testing the new animation system of unity4 and we didnt want to invest to much time in animating. Also used parts of maximos free gangnam-motion which worked quite painless
