Chrome OS and Chrome Apps and Chrome NoteBooks?

I don’t know what to make of all of this. Clearly Google wishes to take over the netbook market. I wonder though, is there really room for a netbook and a tablet market? They seem kind of the same to me, Asus in particular has a few netbook/tablet hybrids coming out. I imagine if this flies Chrome Tablets would not be far away. I wonder, will android phase out over time in favor of Chrome OS? It seems like the way Chrome OS and Chrome apps is wanting to function is definanetly an upgrade to how Android Apps and iOS apps function. It seems like It’d only make sense for Google to make a Chrome Mobile OS in order to unify their cell devices with there netbook/pad devices.

How will this go… I am really intrigued right now.

I feel like this is a move on Google’s part against Apple in order to secure a larger market share in the sort of mid-range/mid-size/mid-priced computing sector.

One good thing though is this gives a new place to market Unity games.

I make this thread just because I want everyone else to empty there mind on this subject, I’m curious to see whats going through all you guys heads.

Chrome is for Mouse/Keyboard devices, Android is for touch.

I just started to use my first slate PC with Windows 7 and there is no way that I will ever buy another Laptop in the foreseeable future.
They are way easier to transport and do the exact same thing.

I think there will be more devices that take an Atrix like approach, where you have a big Touchscreen that is attachable to a keyboard and a smartphone in it for the processing power.
