Cinema 4D - FBX - Unity: Animation not working correctly...

Hi, I have bought an an 3D modelled horse in Cinema 4D format, and I am trying to import it to unity as FBX. Unity imports the model, but part of the animated mesh is distorted during the animation. There are teeth, eyes and jaws meshes, which seem to suffer from this, the rest looks ok. See the attached screen shots.

The conversion from c4d was done on Mac version (OSx 10.8.5) with Cinema4D r15.057 activated demo. An activated demo has all export features enabled for 42 days. The animation had baked in animations and embedded textures. The exporter type was the latest, 2013.

On the Unity side I’ve tried the animation on both platforms (Mac, Pc) and the animation is distorted in the same way. Unity Pc version 4.5.0f6, Mac version 4.2.4f1.

Could you perhaps shed light on this matter?

Hi - this appears to be a skinning issue (how your model is rigged to the bones in Cinema 4D) so you would probably need to take it up with the Author of the asset, and/or follow some guidelines on verifying your 3D model before import or re-rig your model ready for animaion. If you are unsure about this you could do well to check out some if these through to gain further understanding:
