Looking at the Cinemachine online manual it says you can add extensions to a virtual camera. I am on Unity 2018.3.12 and Cinemachine 2.2.8 and don’t see the add extension drop down. Is it gone? Changed?
That image is from a very old version of Cinemachine, before extensions were implemented.
Is it possible that you have an old asset store version of Cinemachine installed in your project?
If so, you should remove it and install the latest from the package manager.
If you have both asset store and package manager versions (it can happen), then you need to remove both, then re-install the package manager version.
