i recently made a city from the suicidator city generator in blender and im having trouble window wise. i would really like windows all over the cities and light up. I tried individually making objects with cubes and add a window texture to it and a point light as a child of the window and individually place the windos one by one but its taking a long time. Is there some sort of shader or effect i can make that has lots of city building windows already lite up and i would just have to line it up to the walls? If there is such a thing or a easier way plz can someone tell me it would be grately appreciated.
If you put one light for every windows, your computer is going to explode. Plus, it’s totally unnecessary. What you should do is use an emissive shader on your windows. If your windows are part of the building mesh, you’ll need a mask.
