Using Unity 2020.3.4f1.
The trail lifetime setting (ratio of trail lifetime to particle lifetime) is constantly breaking. For example, I’ll have a setting of something like “0.1”, which will create a short trail, and behave as expected. But as I adjust other settings in the particle system, it will sudden start behaving as though it’s set to “1” no matter what value I enter. And it wont work properly until I restart Unity.
A few times it has also made the trail randomly appear and disappear, as though the trail lifetime is out of sync with the particle lifetime.
