[CLOSED] [Linux] Performance issues when adding TMP UI object to canvas

Hello,
the editor becomes unusable laggy, when adding just one TMP UI object to a canvas.
Is this a general issue or has it something to do with my machine?

That should not be the case.

Do you have a bunch of errors in the Console?

Make sure you have imported the TMP Essential Resources prior to creating / adding the TMP text object otherwise and assuming the TMP Essential Resources were not imported, you would then get lots of errors which would lead to performance issues.

Thanks for your reply. You were rught, there was an issue while importing the packages. I guess some Linux file permissions thing. Was resolved.
