Hi,
I was wondering what software program would best be used to place 3D clothes on customized 3D characters that I import to Unity where the 3D material would outline itself along the bodily shape of my character and then hang downward toward the bottom (if it is a shirt) or give 3d wrinkles?
Thank you,
Michael S. Lowe
Wrinkles should be done through textures. If you are using Cinema 4D, it has a nice and simple cloth object, though I recommend modeling cloth by hand using polygon tool… or start with a basic primitive and subdivide…
I came across a tutorial recently, I think it was on Renderosity, about building Poser clothing in I think it was C4D, but I’m sure the techniques would be applicable to any modeller and even non-poser figures for that matter. I don’t have a link handy right now, but go dig around Render-o and you should be able to find it.
