Cloud Build is much darker than local build

Hi all,

I’m wondering if anyone has solved this issue before:

I’m using Unity 2020.3.15f2, targeting Android (launching on Oculus Quest 2).

My local builds look much much darker than my local builds. I’ve seen threads that point me to this knowledge base article, but that does not seem to apply to my situation since my baked lighting is pushed to the Collaborate service (as well as my lighting settings and everything else), and Auto-Generate Lighting has never been on in this project.

The scene only uses one directional light (mixed), and the ground is the only thing actually marked GI Static, but everything including the skybox is much darker than it should be, as if there’s a black, semi-transparent image in encompassing my entire view.

Anyone seen or fixed this?

Experiencing the same in the latest 2020 LTS when I build in a Mac (darker) vs when I build in PC

I talked to Rocío from the unity support team and she recommended to upgrade the xr management package to 4.2 (We where on 4.07).

It worked like a charm

I’m experiencing the same issue with Unity 2021.1.24f1 (XR Management package 4.1). Local builds work perfectly fine. Cloud builds have issues. @bpj_mdt Did you find a fix. Does the above fix work?

Hi,

Could you please upgrade all XR/VR related packages to the latest available and see if this fixed the behaviour?
