Hello,
we would like to request a discord integration that specifically notifies only when code review has been either merged or marked done.
Currently, there are only these two options:
The second one (code review editor) however creates so much spam that the entire integration notifications become unusable, as we get dozens of notifications per day.
The reason for this request is:
- our team creates on average 3 code reviews per day
- we get notified that new code review is created, which is amazing, as we then know we can do the review and have overview over code integration
- however after code review is done, the developer who created it has to change ticket status and merge from “main” into his other branches, then QA is done
- devs basically need to know as soon as the branch is reviewed and merged due to our workflow, QA (which is done on main branch as well where everything is merged into)
I know you are planning email integration, but I fear there again will be option only to either enable code review created, and then everything else.
The issue again with that that we create 3 code reviews per day, but can do 30 changes, and then we would get 30 emails, making the entire notification system overflowing and not usable (which we already tried).
So either if its possible to integrate this into discord, or if we are working on email integration, just split it into:
- code review created
- code review merged or marked done
- everything else, this is the comments etc.
