About Game:

CoinRPG is a Bitcoin inspired Multiplayer Online Action RPG Game! Explore an open world, discover hidden treasures and hunt monsters for loot. Team up with friends to siege a castle, or face off against rival players in PvP combat; all while on your quest to become the best coin collector of the realm! CoinRPG players compete for ranks, bragging rights, and Bitcoins! All in one immersive online world where players engage with friends or rival players from around the world in real-time, fast-paced, RPG action!

Bitcoin Contests:
Unlike most Bitcoin Games, CoinRPG will never ask for Bitcoin Deposits. Play for free, and compete against other players for a chance to Win Bitcoins during our Official CoinRPG Bitcoin Contests.

Open World:
Explore a Realm of various terrains discovering Monsters, Loot, and up to 8 Players in a single game instance.

Anti-Player Killing:
New players are protected from Player Killing until Level 10 has been reached.

Monsters:
Hunt various types of monsters lurking around the world; some are much stronger than others but offer greater rewards when defeated!

Castle Siege:
Gather a few friends and Siege a Castle guarded by mighty Orcs! Capturing a Castle offers the best rewards, but be prepared to defend it against invading players.

PvP Combat:
Players can engage in Dynamic Player vs Player Combat! Winners are rewarded with a Coin loot drop! (*no Coins are lost by the defeated player)

Loot:
Currently features several kinds of loot to collect in game. Healing Potions, Magic Potions, and Coins. Potions allow the Player to Cast a mighty Magic Attack, Ability to Heal HP in Combat, while Coins are collected as experience points.

Level System:
Unlike most RPGs, there is no traditional level up, stats-based system. CoinRPG uses Coins collected as experience points. As players collect Coins they (level up) move up in Ranking on a Leaderboard for bragging rights as the Top Player of the Game, along with a chance to Win Bitcoins during our Weekly and Monthly Contests.

Skill Based:
CoinRPG is a Skill based Game! Players can execute various actions in real-time from Running, Basic and Special Attacks, Magic Attack, and Healing. So higher levels donā€™t really matter, but how well you execute your actions!

Powered by Unity 3D, CoinRPG is suited for the best performance by utilizing gfx hardware.

Interesting. So does this accept bitcoin as payment for purchase or microtrans, mine bitcoins in the background, or simply exist to raise awareness of bitcoin?

No actually I wont be accepting any bitcoin for this game. Yes, I like to look at it as a way to raise awareness of bitcoin, but also I plan to Monetize through Ad Sense, and driving Traffic through Weekly, Monthly Contests where Iā€™ll be giving away Bitcoin to the Winner every Week and Month.

Players will compete for different Highscores, whether it be a number of Coins Collected, PvP Kills, or Enemy Killsā€¦

  • Added Settings and Toggle Buttons for FullScreen Mode, Music, Exit to Lobby (Menu), and Turn off/on Camera Follow

  • Chat is Now Enabled, also has a Chat Toggle Button to Hide or Display Chat in-Game.

so how do you level up or is it not done yet? Also will there be monsters and bosses and stuff?

Well the interesting thing about this RPG Game is that there wonā€™t be any grinding to level up skills, or other attributesā€¦ Players will earn different Ranking Levels from 1 - 99 based on How many Coins they Collect (as collecting coins is the main objective) , which is done in 1 of 3 waysā€¦ from either hunting enemy monsters they may drop coins sometimes, defeating other players in combat, or simply exploring and finding the coins before other players do.

This is kinda of New Idea I think Mixing some Action-RPG Combat Elements with a Casual, but Competitive Gameplay Objective of Player Competing to Collect the Most Coins through Completing Several different Tasks. Players with the Highest Level Represents their Ranking on the Leaderboard based on Coins Collected, so the Higher Up you go the More Enemies youā€™ll make as More Player will want to slow you down, Competing for the Highest Level and Ranking. Regarding the actual Combat, there will be Basic Attacks, Magic Attack, Healing, and Probably a Sprint/Run Away Ability to Escape from Battle into Safe Zones.

Ofcoarse the Game can grow and probably go in any direction with more traditional RPG features, but iā€™m trying something differentā€¦

Trying to Aim at the Casual Gaming Market, Mixing some different elements, and Driving Traffic though Contests that will Reward Player with Bitcoins (exchanged for real cash)

(*this is especially targeted at a growing market of those who happen to be big fans of the latest buzz about the #1 Cryptocurrency ā€œBitcoinā€)
