Using latest version of Unity (2.0.2), trying to import Collada (.dae) file from latest version of Truespace 7.5.1. Unity crashes upon launch (or when performing manual asset import of the .dae file).
I’ve tried all combinations of Collada export options from Truespace but Unity crashes on any of them.
I realize TS generally has a bad rep for animation export but TS tech support says they are aware of that and as such have made double sure the latest TS build (7.5.1) has a complete Collada I/O implementation.
Does Unity support Collada? If so what specific implementation? (are Physics supported!?) What I/O options should I use to get any aspect of this working?
