Collisions with Kinematic rigidbodys

I have a ship using a kinematic rigidbody, but rather than colliding with other kinematic rigidbodys, it goes right through them, is there anyway to cause them to collide like with character controllers?

Two kinematic rigidbodys can not collide. One rigidbody has to be nonkinematic. Check the docs for details: Unity - Manual: Mesh Collider component reference
