Colors not working in Visual Studio Community

Hi everyone,

I recently switched from MonoDevelop to VisualStudio since MonoDevelop is not supported anymore.

I want my code to look exactly like it was in MonoDevelop (right), so I selected the Monokai Color Theme bundled with Visual Studio For Mac (left).

Problem: variable names should be green, function names should by orange… but everything is white :frowning:

I tried different projects, I tried to reinstall Visual Studio multiple times… no effect.

What can I do to fix this issue ?

Found the answer : it’s a bug in Visual Studio 7.4.
Yep, a 100% genuine, “stable release” official Microsoft bug.:rage:

Fix : you have to revert back to 7.3.3 (-_-)
