Combining lightmapping with dynamic light

Lightmapped scenes aren’t affected by lights after being baked, but I’m curious if there’s a way to combine the two. The effect I’m after is for lightning flashes. Obviously most of the time you’d see the ‘night time’ lightmapped scene, but then I’d want an extreme flash across the environment. What’s a method that could make this possible on mobile?

Ah, after testing a quick theory I realized it’s not as difficult as previously thought… it’s possible to use realtime lights on a lightmapped area so long as the light is changed from ‘Auto’ to ‘RealtimeOnly’.
