Anyone interested in going out for a meal/some drinks sometime during or after the Apple WWDC conference (June 8th to 12th) to chat about game dev. and Unity?
You don’t have to be attending the conference or anything. But it’s probably a good opportunity for some out of towners (such as myself and my team from Tasmania, Australia) who will be in town for the conference to meet the locals and vice versa.
I’m obviously a resident of SF and may even be able to offer a meeting location in a certain new and soon to be opened office space for a company we all know and love…
Well, it requires securing the office location first which hasn’t happened just yet. We can and should go ahead with this regardless and simply find a great coffee shop/bar/whatever to meet up in anyway!
If we skew younger, meaning we’ll have folks under 21 then I’ll guide us towards something more coffee shop like which may or may not have beer/wine, but will at least be open to all ages. Plus knowing whether there will be two people, five people, ten people or ??? people will help so we go somewhere ready to fit us all.
There are loads of places in the Mission to consider, plenty downtown, etc., so are folks coming in cars? On BART? Walking?
I’ll leave the headcount up to the forums to decide - and unless we get anyone who says they’re under 21, let’s go with 21+?
There’s 4 of my team coming up to SF, and approximately 7 (including Higgy, but excluding my team) have said they’re up for it. So, right now: 11 people.
We’ll be staying just off Market, but we’re happy to go anywhere assuming it’s in reasonable travelling distance of there (i.e. anywhere in SF basically).
