Can anyone give me some pointers in comparing size of two objects? I want to compare the top surface area of a plane and a cylinder object. The plane has a scale of 1 and the cylinder object has a scale of 0.3. I read somewhere that you can get the actual size of an edge with mesh.bounds.size.x * transform.localScale.x. It doesn’t seem to work. The value between the two objects are too far off. Plane size is about 100 times bigger than the cylinder while it should be about 10 times bigger.
Any help will be much appreciated.
