New user can’t start tutorial #1 because this is the first thing I see when I start, and follow the directions of the first tutorial. Really? I KNOW I KNOW NOTHING! BUT DO I HAVE TO BE STOPPED DEAD IN MY TRACKS THIS FAST AFTER DOWNLOADING ALL THIS SOFTWARE? I HOPED MAYBE I COULD ACTUALLY “USE” IT FOR A FEW SECONDS BEFORE I WAS MADE TO FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT. So my question is "How do I start my first tutorial when I see… “All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode” ?? And that’s it! My first tutorial ended THAT FAST because I hit a brick wall the second I did the VERY FIRST THING THAT I WAS ASKED TO DO IN YOUR TUTORIAL??? !!! Come on people, You have to do better than that. I literally watched hours of youtube videos before deciding to download Unity, and for all that time (which I will never get back) I am greeted with “All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode”. So, for any and all of you who are asking “Is he REALLY that stupid?” Well, YES! ! ! I REALLY AM THAT STUPID!!! So, Shouldn’t a “Tutorial” be just a little bit more “idiot proof” than…“All compiler errors have to be fixed before you can enter playmode” the second you hit the forst button that you are asked to hit in the “tutorial”??? I really can’t stress this enough… HEEEELP!!!
There should be a little red message in the console window of unity, could you copy and paste what the error is saying so it can be figured out?
Also, press CTRL+SHIFT+C to open up the console
