I am a complete beginner with game making, and with unity, can someone tell me where I can find help on some of the basics like scripting, in java script preferably
also I made a point light in the scene view, but it’s not giving off any light can anyone help me with that too?
Hi and welcome to Unity. Out of curiosity did this window appear when you first started Unity, and if it did, did you close it right away? I’d love to know if new users actually benefit from this at all.
Anyway, there are docs to read and forums to search. The two questions you asked have been asked a lot and doing a search here will yield some good results as well as reading the documentation. Going to the “Help” menu in Unity should also give you a few places to get started.
I went through all of these when I was a beginner, they were a great help.
No harm to have this window open for the first time.
In my case, well…I read the titles and I immediately closed it (I already had the documentation I wanted on Unity website, and others).
