Heya guys,
I’m just starting out with Unity after coming from UDK and was wondering whether you could guide me in the right direction of some really good video tutorials on the basics of Unity3 as well as how to make a very simple first person adventure (FPS camera, but no gun rig, essentially)?
I’ve found some 3dBuzz vutes but they’re very basic and mainly deal with 2.5D game spaces.

Under Support | Resources | Tutorials you’ll find the Lerpz 3rd Person Turorial which is you basic intro to Unity. By basic, I certainly don’t mean completely devoid of complexity.
A good place to begin, if you want to prototype a first person game, is to import the Character Controllers | First Person Controller prefab. Importing prefabs is covered in the above tutorial.

You can find quite a number of videos on YouTube, just search for Unity 3D. You don’t need to jump in with Unity 3 videos, the vast majority of material for Unity 2.x applies straight across to U3.
