Compression options disabled on new sprites

I’m working on a project in which I need to disable compression on sprites.

Yesterday I had to reinstall OSX and Unity, and now any new sprites that I create have the compression option greyed out.

Existing sprites in the project still have the compression option available. If I duplicate an existing sprite, the duplicate has the compression option available. The problem only affects new sprites.

I guess this is a newer version of the editor and there’s an option somewhere. Could someone give me a pointer please? Thank you

The problem appears to be fixed by manually editing the new sprite’s .meta file and changing textureCompression to 0. But obviously it would be better if this could still be done in the editor.

The solution is simply to click on Default.

That “default” button certainly does not look like a button to me either. lol Thanks, I was struggling with this today.
