Concept Art for Game

I made an entrance corridor today and realised that concept art is really useful, this was the first work I have done using concept art(a small sketch) and it makes modelling so much more focussed.

the scene itself is built nicely and looks cool - the yellow’s are sort of hard to look at is my only negative

keep it up

I don’t do anythign without concepts. They are the key for good producing.

Thanks.

The yellow is just a background color and wouldnt be fully in game.

Tommorrow to make the reception area which is the huge main area which all the sub areas come off of. An advantage of concept art is you really get a sense of a place. Making curved areas though is significantly harder.

Nice scene. The brick texture looks a little bit stretched.

Thanks for the reminder Tatelax. I had fixed this and then somehow it has gone wrong again without me noticing.

And it slipped by until caught by you, and I probably wouldnt have noticed.

Heres todays lobby(WIP)

The lighting looks very good, check out my post and tell me what you think about my game, http://forum.unity3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=60072
