Confused with adding git url

Hi! I’m new to this and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Adding any github url I try just gives this error:

[Package Manager Window] Error adding package: GitHub - poiyomi/PoiyomiToonShader: A feature rich toon shader for unity and VR Chat.
UnityEditor.EditorApplication:Internal_CallUpdateFunctions ()

My unity version is 2022.1.22f1

another one I’m trying to install is univrm (that says it can be installed via package manager) but all the urls and upm listed gives the same problem

Are not all git urls compatible with package manager? Is it not setup correctly or did I need to install something else?? I followed some video tutorials to see if I was missing something. They get the url from the code and and paste it in package manager > install from github url…it seems to work for them, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong for me… :s

Both of these repositories are simply not Unity packages to begin with. I don‘t see a package.json in the root folder. Check the manual on how to create a valid Unity package.
