Often I get “connection reset while loading page” thing and it is generally slow. The problem isn’t on my end for sure, as all other sites I visit work just as well as always, only this site proves problematic. I also need to mention that Blogs, manual and answers work well, only forums doesn’t.
Switch to google DNS. That solved random pages acting strangely on my moms machine. It probably won’t fix your issue and this is in no way logical or technical advice, but after making the switch myself I notice better load times on my machine as well.
My ISP is probably just terrible.

I am using google dns.
I’ve noticed an occasional blip where it will slow way down and act like it isn’t responding only to start working fine a few minutes later. I’ve just assumed it is going through a maintenance cycle.
Oh. When the issue you say happens to me I assume it’s chrome being chrome.

Nope. Missed again. I’m using Firefox. Anyway works for now, if it happen again I’ll let you know.
Maybe this at least established it’s not tied to a browser 
A better fix would be to move out of your mom’s basement.
On that note, I saw a couple of blips yesterday as well, but I believe it revolved around authentication since it was having trouble bringing up the publisher administration (though the forum worked but I was already signed in). This happens occasionally as they either do maintenance or maybe it’s just under heavy load.
If you’re getting a connection reset it’s very unlikely that it’s DNS related but more probably a timeout at the server level as the server is actively closing the connection.
If it happens again can you nab a screenshot. I’ve also updated your thread title to be a little more useful.
Pffffff. I live on the first floor. My room is like 1/8 the size of the basement room though, I’d probably be better off (and better fit my stereotype) if I move down there. itches neckbeard
Unity tells you that you need to log in before you log in. I think it’s clear to everyone that there are authentication issues with the forums.
