So i’ll begin by saying that I have zero scripting experience.
I recently downloaded a few demo scripts however I am seeing the following errors in the console. Could someone please take a look and offer some advice. Many thanks
Seems like the demo you downloaded is broken! It might’ve been made for an old version of Unity, or you didn’t follow the installation instructions correctly, or the developers simply don’t know what they’re doing.
Other than that, there’s not much help. One error message is very interesting (“you are trying to import an asset which contains a global game manager. This is not allowed.” Apparently that’s because the demo puts stuff in the wrong folder?), and the other ones just says that files in the “Serial” demo is expecting a bunch of other files to be there, but they’re not.
The official tutorials you find under the Learn tab on the top of this page generally works. Have you tried those?
