Contaminated Age [May not be the game title] W.I.P

Hello once again, you may have seen me posting many different projects on the forums…
But this time I am willing to finish this project.

About the Game
It’ll be a 3rd person MMORPG (first try on multiplayer coding) if no success with multiplayer coding it’ll be just RPG
Also, the game itself will take place somewhere in the future, after some sort of a disaster which has Contaminated the earth, so many mutated creatures are living among us.

Webplayer
(A underground punker scene W.I.P) The corridor model is 320 tris and 120 polys
Webplayer

The main game webplayer is not available because of some log-in and register bugs.

Will add some soon…

You’re not going to make an mmo with your first try in multiplayer coding. Start small and work your way up.

I disagree with this, but if you have no prior experience in programming all together it’s not going to be easy.

Don’t be niave it won’t happen. Start out small, very small.

Same feeling I had. Everyone also goes so grandiose

Now how many vapor ware MMOs is that?

Probably not in his case, no.
But honestly, if someone had enough time to learn? Yeah, they can do it. But it’s most likely they dont have the motivation(aka, $$ to do it) and thus cannot do it.

Sure, they SHOULD probably do something smaller though.

Should probably work on it as single player, then as you learn make it multiplayer.

Well, yes…
I had to agree mostly all of you.
And yes, i was planning on making a working singleplayer first and then multiplayer… and then maybe MMO…
But first singleplayer…

Singleplayer? Nahh just make a cutscene first.

what good would a cut scene do if he doesn’t have a game, single player or not, to base it around?

What about a zero-player MMO? People could sign up to have a gold-farming bot play the game for them! The MMO that plays itself…

The next generation of gaming?

Yo dawg! We heard you liked gaming, so we put a game in you game so you could game while you’re gaming!

Yeah, made me think the same

Anyway, If you don’t have enough programming experience ( or none at all ), don’t expect to make a MMO right away. Start small, learn the basics and some tricks, then when you have a decent game, try making it a small multiplayer for like up to 4 players

I have some experience…
But anyways, any feedback on the webplayer?

The webplayer is just a level consisting of two walls and two lights. You can’t even move

You should call it ‘Lights and Walls: Online’, where players take part in a global conflict between lights and walls set in a post apocalyptic world where humans have died and the walls and lights fight over whats left. Choose between several classes of light (blue lights, red lights, green lights etc) and wall (brick wall, wooden wall, wall with wallpaper etc) and take part in epic PvP battles

Lol!
Well, yes the scene doesn’t have much to offer right now.
