Controller support for the Unity launcher UI on desktop

Can’t seem to find any topic on this, which is strange since this has to be at least a semi common issue. Steam “Full Controller Support” means the user has to be able to launch the game using a controller, including using the Unity launcher with a gamepad as well (the dialog window with resolution and input tabs).

It actually works out of the box with the Steam Controller, but not with other controllers such as xbox360 gamepad. I’m using the very default launcher. So, any idea how I get my hands on the input system of that dialog?

To be able to turn that setting on would be quite important for gamepad-designed game.

Thanks in advance!

Bump…

I think a lot of people just don’t use the launcher for this reason. Its a shame this component has been ignored!

They have something planned for it, though I don’t believe they have spelled it out yet.

googled this issue as we have the same intention as OP, we want to have full controller support in Steam / Big Picture Mode. I guess we need to disable the launcher and build internal UI for these options?
