Controllers tracking when build, but not when running in game mode

I’m out of ideas…

I set up the VR template that’s provided in the Unity Hub. Added in the OpenXR plugin and set it up exactly like another project I recently completed. The headset tracks, but the controllers do not… and I can see the models lying on the ground.

I tried building and running it natively (Quest 2), and the controllers tracked fine.

Any ideas? Things I can try?

I’ve changed the Unity version, and even started a 2nd test project with the same result.

  1. Do you use Oculus (air)Link for connecting?
  2. Is OpenXR and the Touch controllers also enabled under Desktop in the XR Management?
