I’ve tried making houses in Unity3d, but it takes me very much time and in CoD4 Radiant I can make them at nearly the speed of light. When I make a scene in CoD4 Radiant, it will save that scene as a .map file. Now, is there any way to convert this .map file so it can be opened in Unity3d?
That’s true, however I know you can convert from CoD4 Radiant to GtkRadiant as well, then to 3dsmax and then to Unity3d. Just wondering if there’s a faster way around.
Q3Map2 has a converter that converts .BSP to .ASE which can be opened in a 3D program and converted to .FBX or something Unity reads. More information on the conversion process can be found here.
You can also build in UDK then export the brushes as a mesh, and then import it to Unity.
Or you can bypass these hack-y methods and use an excellent level design extension such as ProBuilder.
