Converting PSD textures to another format

For example, in Unity's car tutorial, there are many textures in .psd, but I want to convert these textures do .jpg or .png or something and get the project to use them correctly...

Can anyone tell me how this is done?

P.S.: I'm sorry if the answer is simple, I'm very new to this program. :)

The .psd extension indicates that it is a Photoshop-created file. You would need to read it with Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) in order to save it as another format.

And Unity will read .psd files directly, so you can use them in another project - as long as you don't want to edit them. :)

It's also possible you could use them in a Unity project on a Mesh, then take a screenshot (or maybe there's a way to save a bitmap), but that's more complex. Hopefully someone else can suggest another way.
