Cool Old-Game / Pixel-Art stylized technique

Hi guys, I want to show you a post-processing technique, I’m working on now.
Shader makes image, stylized as in the old games.
Video, unfortunately, not very good quality, so just look at the screens
maybe it’s geek, but i love old-game style look

let me know if you like it and if you know the things that helps me make it better

full-sized screens:

I like it! Show some screen shots with characters.

i don’t have any other characters, only this dev-guy )

cool effect.

Weird but pretty cool.

Love it, does it work in unity indie? And is it available anywhere?

you will need a pro version, because this is a image effect post-process shader.

At this moment I’m still working on the shader. Probably later I’ll upload it on the Asset Store

Oh no, I do too!

Yea methinks you should definitely release this on the Asset Store.

Cheers man

I love this one:

thanks guys, I’m currently working on imitation of various old graphics palettes, here are some results. click for full size

and especially for BIG BUG, here other screens of the same palette.
I also like it very much, the result looks almost like pixel art…

Sweet…really tickling the nostalgia wow

Oh my god.

I’ve been looking for something exactly like this. I want to make a 3d game that has that gritty pixel art style. The Gritty feel is especially important for my project and it’s difficult to capture without nextgen AAA textures, lighting, post processing effects, and models. Pixel art captures it in a different way by leaving details up to the imagination.

Are you ever going to release this to public or share your work? If not…how difficult was this to make and could you point us Do-it-yourselfers in the right direction?

Would greatly appreciate it…holy shit i love this effect.
