Corner snapping lighting particle system

Hi folks,
I should start with information that I’m absolute beginner and hobbyist with Unity and I’m trying to make stuff just for fun and for myself. I tried several forums, tutorial videos about making particle effects but I can’t find anything similar to help me with my problem. If I posting this request on wrong forum or with insufficient information - my apologies.

I’m trying to make “just” spinning 3D logo from first Deus Ex game and I can’t figure out the new particle system. I made the logo spin, then create new particles system - it looks like this.

Shape is cone emitting trails (render disabled) from its base toward the wider end which points against the camera. I tried lots of different noise settings but its always much sporadic and random or only in one direction → that I achieved by setting velocity to one of the axis. Lighting effect then looks good but points only in one direction.

Any advice is surely appreciated.

Have you checked out the live training material on particles? I seem to remember a couple good ones - though I didn’t watch them in there entirety.
