Corrupted project help

It started with unity not recognizing inputs. I know is not my controller because of some testing.
I read somewhere that moving the location of the folder solves the problem. I did that, but now the project doesn’t even appear, even after relocating it.

Could you provide one or more images of what that looks like? Does your project not show up on the Unity Hub or you get a message saying the project is corrupted when trying to open it?

I already managed to half fix it. It didn't appear on the Unity Hub, but after deleting the library folder and moving it back to its original location it reappeared. However, my scenes were deleted. Fortunately it was a new project and the scripts are intact, so I didn't lose too much progress; but it worries me if this happens again. Why did it happen in the first place? How to prevent it? Is there a way to restore it without deleting the scenes?

My guess is that it was a problem with (missing?)files that the Editor had tried to regenerate after the project was moved. Maybe it tried to replace something and caused an issue.

You could consider storing your project on a GitHub repository, if you set it up correctly, GitHub will save only the necessary project files for you, and also, saving the changes you made to your project on GitHub will allow you to se the history of changes on that project's files, which might make it easy for you to see what could be causing issues like this when they happen.

Am having this issue again, but now deleting the library folder doesn't work. Any ideas?
