LOL. I’ve actually been working on a virtual campus for the university I work for. Their work puts mine to shame. It was just a bunch of boxes generally shaped like the building they represent.
We had a team of 15 and a year to build our 3D Virtual Campus Tours product. 
whew… makes me feel much better since I am a team of one who can only work on it when I don’t have anything more pressing to work on.
