Could a game be classed as one of these?

For my media class, I have to pick one of the following but ideally I would like to do a game, these are my options:

• radio or audio sequences
• audiovisual or video sequences
• photographs
• print layouts
• multimedia sequences or presentations
• posters
• tests
• written responses
• oral reports.

I’m thinking multimedia sequences or presentations would be able to fit this in? I’m going to ask my teacher next time I have media but just to get the opinions of others…

PS. I have a ripper idea for a game that is all artsy and what not, it will be a side scroller were you play as a guy who is in a dream but In his dream he finds his past memories full of things he wants to forget… the game will consist of general memories like like falling off a skateboard and what ever but then there will be much larger ones these will be represented with like a sprite or a door, and lead to boss battles… !! but you don’t have to fight these(crazy right?) but if you don’t then once you are done the game you have to face them all, showing that you should face your problems and what not or else they will all come at you and be more difficult.

So, do you think that could be stuck into multimedia sequance or presentation? and is it a good game idea?

Video games are generally classed as a form of multimedia, so why not?
I have made a few video games for assignments myself and they received fairly good marks.
It is just a case of getting it done in time.

Why ask us? Ask whomever is grading the class.

Of course, though, make sure to ask them in a way that they’ll want to say “yes”. :wink:

This could ether be an A or an F, most teachers would probably like something like a full on game , but make sure .

Well, the actual product is all but worthless I could actually take a picture of a turd with a 1.5mp phone camera and still get a 50(Maximum) it more relates to the planing of what I have done… my logic how ever is that the people who check it are all movie and picture people(by far the most people do these) so they probably don’t know what is good for a game design setup and because of this who will they compare me to? No one! and TBH none of the hill billys around here could make a game or if they did i would be a turd so I think I have it in the bag.

I wish I could, but we cant use previous work :frowning: For one of my other subjects I’m probably going to do a poster for it though!
