Could not create project ID

Unity doesnt want to/can’t create a project ID for my unity project. I am trying to link my project to the dashboard so I can use unity gaming services.

Unity version: 2021.3.15f1

What I’ve tried:

  • Disabling firewall
  • Changing DNS
  • Create a new project and try link that.
  • Create new projects with various different target platforms and try on there
  • Signing in/out of unity hub and web dashboard
  • Rebooting computer and trying again.

Other problems:

  • My developer dashboard shows that I have a free plan, even though I pay monthly for Plus. Unity Hub does however recognize the subcription and I have used Plus features without issue. I verified the accounts are the same for both the website and unity hub

  • A bunch of old projects that I havent touched in several years show up in my developer dashboard instead of recent projects Im working on, which seem to be ignored.

  • When I try to set id to an existing project in ProjectSetttings > Services, my organization shows up, but none of the projects are shown in the dropdown.

I’m at the point of creating a whole new account and transferring my projects to that just because I think the current one may have broken over the years. If anyone has any info on this that would be greatly appreciated.

Quick update: I managed to solve this issue by creating another unity account separate from my main one and using that instead to sign into unity hub and dashboard. I guess my old account really was corrupted in some way.

Hey @fls4studios and sorry to hear that you are having issues, let me work with the team to do a little digging. There should be no need to transfer your projects across accounts and any type of “corrupted” state should be something we can help to fix.
