Could this browser game be done with Unity?

Hello,

I’m new to Unity3D. I have an idea for a browser game, and would like to know if it could be made with Unity, and if so, how.

Here is the project:

Develop a simple browser game, using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Canvas/SVG or similar technology.

The game consists of adding a visual/audio sound track and texts on top of a playing video. The user records the sounds and graphics in real-time using keyboard and mouse. After recording, he must be able to edit his audio/video track and add various texts.

The result should be a new MP4, where the added graphics and audio is embedded on top of the original video.

The webserver will use ASP.NET MVC on the back-end.

Questions: - Can this game be made with Unity? - Which version of Unity? (I’m guessing WebGL / WebPlayer) - Is it pure front-end?

I have posted a job for this on Freelancer.com. If you are interested, please apply. https://www.freelancer.com/projects/Javascript/Xxx-rated-browser-game-Repost.html

Thank you, CH Creator

Looks doable. Will probably involve a bunch of third party plugins.

The correct platform would be WebGL. WebPlayer is unsupported on Chrome, and is slowly loosing traction on other browsers.
