Couldn't load OBB when download from Google Play Store

I’m using Unity 5.6 now, facing problem of some device couldn’t load the OBB files from Google Play Store.
Only works until they restart their device.

I have googled but still can’t found any solution to solve it.
In my case, I can’t proceed to the second scene, it will just stuck there (I googled someone have the error in the logcat state somethings like level not found but in my case no error lol)

I think the OBB are downloaded successfully, if not it won’t works when I restart the device.

-Build and Run works fine, manually install by apk works fine too.
-Apk and OBB version is same (Currently Google Play Console have new feature to done it automatically)
-Some tester state that works after a few hours (without restart)
-The funny part is, there wasn’t some many tester face this problems at the beginning, but slowly more and more tester report that problems occur. For now, only my Sony Z3 still working fine among all others samsung / XiaoMi phones.

Any suggestion or solution ?

Thank You

I’m having the same problem.

Using unity 5.2.2p2 here, this is a serious issue, I uploaded an empty project with 2 scenes to google play on alpha, install the game and the second scene doesn’t work, restart the phone and it works.

I have no idea what’s the cause any help here will be great.

It might be the same issue we faced and adding android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to the AndroidManifest.xml helped. This will result in an extra permission popup (which some of the customers are suspicious about) but works as a workaround. This is not an Unity issue but rather Android issue: Google Issue Tracker

got the same problem… any news ?

Got the same problem (probably), and my game doesn’t work at all…

Same problem. READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission don’t fix it in any way.

I tried to connect logcat during the app installation process and noticed a frequently repeated line:

2021-03-13 16:00:30.178 22913-22913/? I/Finsky: [2] zki.a(3): OBB main.168.com.shockapp.bhopgo.obb file doesn’t exist.

It’s hard for me to say exactly what to look for and why it might be happening. But apparently, the problem occurs somewhere in the app installation process.
