Couple of simple questions on using Forum Features

  1. How do you make a URL link that is linked to a word, as in when people say “You can find this thread here.”

  2. How do you link to a specific forum post, not the whole page?

If you quote a post that has what you’re asking about in it, it should show up formatted (haven’t tried it on this forum, but that works on most of the other forums I’ve been on).

(url=www.google.com)Google(/url)

Replacing the ()s with [ ]s will get you Google. Not sure about specific posts.

  1. through the regular bb code tags ie [ url=someurl]theWord[ /url] just without the spaces before url and /url

  2. by using the url you get from the “Posted: …” sentence at the top right for the linking ie the someurl in 1
