Course Forge Perfect Parallel on Mac Question!

Hello! I’m new to using Unity. I like to design golf courses (previously having used Links 2003 course maker) I have found this awesome new game that comes with a built in editor called Perfect Golf (editor called Course Forge).

I have successfully imported in the Course Forge .unitypackage via the online tutorials. However, the tutorials are for a Windows PC and the layout is a little different. In the tutorial for a PC at the top of the Unity window is a tab that was brought in from the import that simplifies the editing in Unity (like a plugin i believe). However, because Macs are different I can’t seem to find the equivalent of that tab!

Anyone have any ideas? I’ve spent about 30 min already clicking through all of the menu buttons at the top of the Mac screen while in Unity.

Thanks a ton!

Unity is basically the same on Mac and Windows (and Linux). Any UI differences are due to Unity version differences, not the OS. More info and screenshots would help.

I think that is my problem currently testing another version after it downloads.

Thanks!!

hi I’m having a similar issue. I installed unity 5.2.3 on my iMac > opened new project > imported custom package(cftutorial)
the scene with the terrain opened just like it does on a windows computer but the perfect parallel menu that is there on windows pc is missing on my Mac. Is it just located elsewhere?

@massivedynamic78 , did you resolve the issue? I am having same.
