I couldn’t really understand why you were drawing patterns all over the jeans. I mean, I could make out a few creases, a belt loop and pockets, but you seemed to be randomly drawing lines and shapes over everything else as well, and I couldn’t really see why. I figured if I waited till the end, I’d get the final version and see what it was all about, but it didn’t really have an end. It just stopped.
So maybe if the end were to contain the end result and I could see what you had been doing earlier on, it would have some payoff.
Thanks - Yeah I was going all out crazy - this was one of the new times I was trying that technique - I had never attempted to make “Normal Map” looking details using Colors alone and no sculpting, so I was perfecting that art and they do look like random patterns but they are actually all supposed to be their - but I did go very far with that - a lot of people disliked the video I think for the same reason you are pointing out - It is disappointing that many people failed to see that the video was just “a video showing me painting crash because I felt like doing so” and nothing more…Oh well - the feedback I get helps me learn more.
Yes the final version will be much better but I wanted to try something else more Unique.
